Luke turns "1"

Where has time gone? I cannot believe my little baby boy is 1. Its funny looking back at the last 2 years of our lives. I had a plan right in front of me and in an instant God said "Nope... I'm gonna change things up a bit, but your life is going to be even better than it was before." I thought I knew what was in store for my life, but it sure did take a huge turn on April 5th 2010. That was the day Kevin and I found out we would be having another baby. How did I feel at the time... Well let's be honest. I was mad, scared, helpless, lost, afraid, but most of all not ready to do things all over again. However after that first ultrasound with my mom, I knew in that very moment that little baby growing inside of me was the best thing that was going to come into my life, and I had to change my feelings of utter selfishness to gratitude and thankfulness. Well those 39 weeks were VERY difficult to say the least, but on December 4th, 2010 at 10:30am, Kevin and I were blessed with the most beautiful, healthy, adorable baby boy Luke Brodee. He was and is everything to us and I am so grateful he joined our family to make it even better than it was before.
Before I even had Luke I knew that I wanted to have his first birthday at Disneyland. So this trip was pretty much planned before he even came into the world (at least the discussion of his 1st birthday). The difficult thing was that Luke was not walking yet and he didn't want to sit in his stroller the entire time. So we did alot of juggling. Oh and I forgot to mention... Luke is 30 pounds.
So here are some pics of our time with great friends and family.

Eycleisha and Luke celebrated together with the "VOLCANO" (Cle's birthday is the 5th)

The four of us (I'm the one taking the pic) snuck away after the rest of the family went to bed. So we had to visit the Tiki Room. My sister looks so happy to be with the kids =)
